I’m a 22-year-old fashion editor, and I’ve never owned a pair of Uggs—until today. Don’t get me wrong. I’ve always admired the celebs and It girls in their shearling-lined booties, but I was never an Ugg girlie. Maybe the FOMO finally got to me, or perhaps it’s the freezing NYC winter that looms ahead, but I’ve purchased my first pair of Uggs.
It wasn’t an easy decision. There are an overwhelming number of cute styles to choose from. I love the elegance of the Elea Suede Slippers($125), but the Bea Genuine Shearling Lined Platform Mary Janes ($125) have the support of IG It girls. I gave thought to the Classic Ultra Mini Platform Boots ($170) and all their styling possibilities. There was a lot to consider. That’s when I turned to the Nordstrom reviews.
