Now that the air has officially turned crisp, Wednesday Part 2 has dropped on Netflix, and my local Trader Joe’s has all but transformed into a pumpkin spice factory, it’s time to break out the hollow-eyed, berry-stained makeup looks. (That is, if you haven’t embraced your spring/summer goth already.) I, for one, have been dreaming of the days my sun-drenched dewy flush would make way for velvety skin tints, luminous powders, and soft-blurred lips, and I’ve since been hoarding the highly-anticipated fall launches that 100% understood the assignment. From a matte primer that makes my skin feel like cashmere to a silky, peacock-green eye shadow that made me gasp upon first glance (true story!) to the plum lipstick I reach for as soon as September hits, these are the 11 products I’m eyeing for a glorious, vampy-girl fall. ‘Tis the season, after all.
My Favorite Vampy Makeup Staples for Fall 2025
Sisley-Paris
Phyto-Teint Matte Primer
I’ve tested my fair share of primers, but I didn’t truly understand just how perfect it can make your skin appear until I tried this Sisley Paris concoction. It smooths imperfections upon application, disguising areas of discoloration and uneven texture with a veil of blurring power—and that’s before adding a single drop of foundation. I’ve been wearing it alone on no-makeup days just to make my complexion look a tad more put together, but trust me, it effortlessly transforms any complexion product you put on top of it into a second skin. For me, it’s a non-negotiable for soft-blurred glam.
Victoria Beckham Beauty
The Foundation Drops
I’ve already waxed poetic about Victoria Beckham’s first-ever foundation, but allow me to gush over these drops just a little more. The featherlight formula! The surprisingly impressive longwear! And the satin-skin finish? Just wow. Beckham absolutely knocked it out of the part with this launch. I’m practically champing at the bit to pair this medium-coverage foundation with a slash of VBB’s richly-pigmented eyeliner—especially this deep fig-hued number.
Hermès
Ombres D’hermès Eye Shadow Quartet
I legitimately gasped when I first laid eyes on this stunning Hermès eye shadow palette. The limited-edition compact, for one thing, is a work of art, but the four “almost nocturnal shades” (as Gregoris Pyrpylis, creative director of Hermès Beauty, chicly puts it) are practically begging to be worn after dusk. I’ll be dressing my lids in that heavenly peacock-green for the foreseeable future, thank you very much!
Prada Beauty
Monochrome Hyper Matte Refillable Lipstick – P57 Ultraviolet
This matte lipstick isn’t brand new by any means, but it is one I genuinely crave when cooler weather rolls around. The deep purple hue is nothing short of divine. It may look a little intimidating in the bullet, but trust me—it blends like a dream and delivers the perfect vampy lip. Bonus points for the triangle shape, which you can use to sharply define your Cupid’s bow.
Dries Van Noten
Satin Lipstick Refill – Bohemian Scarlett
Another equally luxe pigment I can’t stop wearing, this Dries Van Noten number is my ultimate go-to when I’m gunning for a buttery, satin finish as opposed to something more matte. It’s the product I point to whenever someone asks me for beauty gift inspo, given the fact that it’s housed in a stunning printed case practically made for displaying on your vanity. As for the shade—I dare you not to swoon every time you hear the words “Bohemian Scarlett.”
Kosas
Soulgazer Lengthening Mascara
I tend to forego mascara entirely during summer—when the humidity is high and the chances of “racoon eyes” are even higher. That said, I cannot wait to encourage sky-high flutters this fall and beyond. Kosas’s new mascara is just the product for the job, as its lengthening formula also contains a lash-enhancing peptide serum to facilitate growth in as little as six weeks. My favorite perk, however, is that this inky pigment refuses to clump, even as I swipe on coat after coat after coat.
Dior
Diorshow 5 Couleurs Limited Edition Eye Makeup Palette
If your fall beauty M.O. leans less vamp and more punk rock, I highly recommend snagging this limited-edition eye shadow palette while you still can. These shade pairings in particular scream “elevated grunge,” as jet-black beautifully juxtaposes the rose gold, pearly white, pale green, and satin pink hues. Very Mary-Kate Olsen-coded, who according to celebrity makeup artist Pati Dubroff, used to favor a rock n’ roll edge.
PAT McGRATH LABS
Skin Fetish: Sublime Perfection Blurring Under Eye Powder
It’s not new, but oh, is it quite the fall staple. This viral baby-pink powder brightens under-eyes, neutralizes areas of sallow discoloration, and blurs the surface without settling into any fine lines. Not to mention it gives the skin an overall luminosity that adds dimension to soft-matte looks without making you look sparkly. It’s no wonder this Pat McGrath winner constantly sells out, so I’d act fast before it inevitably flies off the Sephora shelves.
Rituel de Fille
Celestial Sphere Gelée Eye Gloss
Though fall makeup looks tend to skew matte, I do enjoy an ethereal gloss every once in a while. Of course, said gloss must come from Rituel de Fille, the O.G. witchy brand that knows its way around an otherworldly sparkle. I’ve been long obsessed with its glistening cream shadows, often wearing them along for an angelic, fairy-dust shadow moment or on top of my pigment du jour for a wet-lid effect.
r.e.m. Beauty
On Your Collar Plumping Lipgloss
Speaking of otherworldly sparkle, have you tried r.e.m. Beauty’s new plumping gloss? If you haven’t, now is absolutely the time to bite. The shade Fembot (the same shade as my favorite holographic liquid eye shadow) makes lips look positively galactic. It is a bit spicy, but it’s even more hydrating—and besides, I’m someone who enjoys a little sting. It’s also not overly sticky, so you can easily layer it on top of any lip color you please.
m.ph
Lip Ciggy Hydrating Lipstick Balm
Clearly, a slew of lip products have captured my heart within the past few weeks. For those looking for more of a sheer kiss of color, this deep raisin hue called Love Bites (okay, chic) deposits the prettiest berry-stained finish. Iconic celebrity makeup artist Mary Phillips even told me it’s her favorite shade of the bunch—so do with that info what you will.
